I was curious...are the past few day's comics a nod to Alton Brown and his hatred of unitaskers?

I'm sorry to say I'm not familiar with Alton Nod. He sounds like a Superman villain, though, so now I'm intriqued!

(...I couldn't find anything on him/her with a Google search. Do you have a link?)

In Response to DaveKellett (#41088):

Yes. [wikipedia.org]

I actually didn't think of him while reading those strips. As a self-professed fan, I am ashamed.

I don't understand his hatred of unitaskers. It seems kind of hypocritical. Ex: "Now I just need a rolling pin." (Giant cupboard of sixteen different rolling pins. each slightly different from each other.) Ex: Now I just need a sifter. (Pulls out a drawer of ten different sifters.) Or maybe I just hate him for clogging up my tivo.
