I gotta agree with gramps here. The problem with videos was that they didn't age well. The sound and picture quality degraded and so it made sense to upgrade them. Not so with DVD! DVDs are just as good now, as when we bought them.

Also videos were used for a lot longer then DVDs! Let us get more life out of the format before you try to force us into buying another format!

I think the best way for us to gauge when some kind of new, home movie technology is about to break-on-through is to watch George Lucas -- he's always about five years behind the times when it comes to releasing his movies to VHS, or DVD.

So, when he releases the Super-Terrific Star Wars Blu-Ray boxset, watch out Blu-Ray lovers. That is when the Energon Cube Video technology is right around the corner.
