Excuse my confusion here but queso is just spanish for cheese right? Do they, the people of texas put cheese on everything?

"Queso" in Texas refers to a spicy cheese sauce, made from cheese, butter, peppers, and love.
And no, some things we only put Hot Sauce on.

Also, for the Queso and "ice cream" it would have to be Blue Bell Homemade ice cream (which you can buy in a store).

Oh, indeed, I vote YES on proposition Blue Bell! I grew up about 15 miles from Brenham, so I got to visit the factory more than once. Free samples for victory!
