New baby had a slight case of the colic, perhaps? Nothing like a crying baby to make it impossible to concentrate.

Actually, I think because facing your own mortality is a very gloomy, black and white thing. Especially when you realize all you have to leave to your rich grandson is memories, and you cannot leave him the memories he should have had of his parents.

But then again, maybe Dave was just tired. ;)

The last week and a half of strips have been "scanned" in using a Canon camera. A method which works somewhat, but which doesn't produce a clean enough original image to be colored.

When the new scanner arrives, I'll most likely go back and color this one. As well as rescan about 15 toons.
