How can Oso Flaco be German for Crosseyed Hedgehog when the German word for Hedgehog is Igele (pronounced Eagle)??

Crosseyed Hedgehog would be Kreuz gemustertes Igele.

Oh and "cross eyed" doesn't mean that the hedgehog has stripes - which would be your translation. You'd have to say "schielender Igel".
