Seattle, Follow-up Post

Some photos have trickled in from Emerald City Comicon that I thought I'd share with you guys. First up, the *coolest family ever* came up to the the booth on Saturday with their own home-made Flaco shirts. Check this out, it made my day:

Sheldonista Leslie P. came by the booth as well, sporting her hand-made Arthur plushie. This time, though, she had an awesome little Rex Chestington hat for him. Depending on how you tilt it, he looks cut-throat...or kinda sleepy:

Also, Sheldon reader Matthew R. sent in a photo of this sketch I did for him of a fat Borg:

Also! I totally forgot mention that six or seven Sheldonistas came up throughout the show with gifts of candy, cookies, and Hobnobs...which pleased my inner 9-year old to no end. Thank you for that!

Can we get that as an official Flaco shirt? Pleeeaaaaase? Just in a more flacoesque color maybe, a lighter shade of his green skin (with a color scheme kinda like the Arthur one). I'd buy one instantly. And then add one for Oso in a light brown color.

I've been told by a friend who studied abroad in England (and fell in love with Hob Nobs) that Hob Nobs are popping up in the "international" section of Krogers stores. Granted, Krogers even having an "international" section is rather weird, but Hob Nobs can, in fact, be found in the US now.

First, totally bummed I didn't make it to the Emerald City Comicon - but will definitely try to make it next year! Second, I second the request for the Flaco shirts! Those are awesome! And third, where do I find Hob Nobs in Seattle? By Krogers stores, would that be QFC AND Fred Meyer stores?

I posted this question in the thread re: the LA Festival of Books - will you be doing any panels at the Festival, Dave?

Oh! Have so wanted a Flaco shirt since I saw the button! In light green, and preferably with feminine cut t-shirt and not too small of a neck line. Please, please, please, Mr. All-Wonderful-Comic-Strip-Writer!
...
Please!

To answer the earlier question: No, I'm not doing any panels at the LA Festival of Books. My appearance was a late-add. :)

And as for the Flaco shirt, maybe that's one we'll do for San Diego Comic-Con. Thanks!
