We’re nearing the end of 2010, so I thought it’d be fun to go over the 10 most popular strips for the year. These are the strips that garnered the most pageviews overall.
We’ll go through them, one by one, between now and Dec 31st…which should be a nice way to lead into the new year.
So let’s start at the top! #10…click image for larger version:
If you ordered from the Sheldon Store, and didn’t receive a shipping notification by e-mail, drop me a line — [email protected] — and we’ll double-check that your order is out the door. All the orders in right now are packed up and ready to go…so this is just my final check that everyone’s gift-givin’ goes off without a hitch. 🙂
Saturday is the last day to order from the Sheldon Store for Christmas orderin’.
We’ll still be taking orders after that, of course, and shipping ’em out as soon as they come in. But we’d recommend ordering by Saturday if’n you can.
For those of you who’ll be picking up a book, artwork, etc., in the Sheldon Store, let me share the Christmas orderin’ deadlines:
WITHIN THE USA W/ PRIORITY OR 1ST CLASS MAIL
For orders headed within the U.S. using Priority or 1st Class Mail, the deadline to order is:
Saturday, Dec. 18th
INTERNATIONAL/CANADA
(Deadline has passed.)
We’ll of course be taking orders right up to Christmas, and shipping ’em out as soon as they come in. But we’d recommend ordering sooner rather than later, and using the above dates as your deadline of last resort.
Ever since this strip on knitting appeared, the knitters among us have been clamorin’ for a shirt version of it. Better late than never…the shirt is here!
It is awesome-time, my friends. Time to announce two new things in the store:
1.) Because 10 gajillion people requested it, we’re doin’ prints of the famous “Should I Have a Cookie?” strip.
2.) Also, in bigger news, the next book collection is here! Delightful Jokes for High-Class Folks is the follow-up book to last Fall’s “Still Got It,” and is available now!
I’ll be honest and say this one might be my favorite book…just for the cover alone. But so many of my favorite jokes and storylines are included in this book: Stuff like the big trip to England, Sheldon’s war on fax machines, Flaco abusing the central heater, Arthur’s invention of Mega Butter, the invention of “Thooonk”, Arthur’s mid-life crisis, Sheldon getting dragged in to Mathletics, the Spontaneous Awesome-Off Competition, and SO MUCH MORE.
I really think you guys are gonna like it. A lot of love went into this baby.
Along those lines: I and my family want to thank every last one of you who order the books, as they are a direct line to Sheldon continuing. As you know, we give the strip away every day for free on the site, RSS, and in daily e-mails. So when you treat yourself to a book, you’re not only getting a cool collection, you’re directly supporting *new* Sheldon strips being created tomorrow. So thank you, guys!
I’m turning on my studio camera right now, if you’d like to come watch me draw HERE.
The camera’s mounted over my shoulder, so you can see the Sheldon strip come to life like you’re hangin’ out in the studio with me…like we were best buds. WHICH WE TOTALLY ARE. So swing by over HERE.
