For 30 days, I’m re-running my favorite “dog anatomy” comics, because —ta-da— WE’RE KICKSTARTING ANATOMY OF DOGS RIGHT NOW!

TITLE: The Highly Accurate and 100% Correct in Every Way Anatomy of Dogs SUB HEADING: Anatomy of a Siberian Husky DESCRIPTION: A black husky with white mask and white underbelly stands alert, ears up, tail down. He stands on a snowy field, tongue out. Floating by head: “How to own a wolf without owning a wolf.” Pointing to eyes: The eyes of a tongue, handsome Frank Sinatra. Pointing to mouth: The HOWL of an older, drunker Frank Sinatra. Pointing to chest: They’re a sled dog! Which in modern life means you can use a sled to push them from the couch to their food bowl. Pointing to back of head: THEY’LL TALK TO YOU! Granted, it sounds like a New York cabbie cussing you out, but THEY’LL TALK TO YOU! Floating above back: Some Siberian owners shorted the name to “SIBE” which sounds like a shady hacker in a William Gibson novel. Points to back: They have a stonger-than-usual predatory drive. Because, again, they are ONE TINY GENE EXPRESSION AWAY FROM BEING A DANG WOLF.
